Performance: 2022 Buick GMC Canyon
With any new truck, it’s important to be knowledgeable of what it’s able to get done on an everyday basis, and the Canyon really has the power to get a lot done. Although the GMC Canyon is seen as a “small” truck next to other trucks, it isn’t a slouch with its performance or towing capability. An available 7,700 pounds of towing power is a tough dimension to scoff at, paired with a spacious interior that gives you plenty of space to bring even more items. The GMC Canyon AT4 and Denali trim levels produce a lower 7,550 pounds of towing power while providing a lot more useful available amenities. The AT4 may equip the unmatched optional 31-inch Goodyear® Wrangler Duratrac® Tires to provide your Canyon a fierce look. The 2.5L fuel engine is going to come standard in the Canyon, but an optional V6 3.6L or 2.8L Turbo-Diesel Duramax® powertrain can be equipped if you prefer it.

Buick GMC Canyon Horsepower
The Canyon has 200 horsepower in its base configuration. This gets created from the standard 2.5L DOHC I-4 with Direct Injection powertrain that produces 191 lb-ft of torque to fulfill its massive towing capability. The optional Diesel 2.8-liter Duramax® 4-cylinder engine produces 181 HP and 369 lb-ft of torque along with a slightly heavier curb weight. In between the two powertrain options is the V6 3.6L powertrain that has the best creation, measuring in at 275 lb-ft of torque and 308 horsepower.

Canyon Top Speed
The GMC Canyon has a max speed of 98 miles per hour. A fast top speed might be super fun on paper, but there’s no need to try to hit these speeds frequently. You should obey the local speeding and traffic regulations. Also, it’ll take a long time to reach high speeds because of the GMC Canyon’s frame. The 98 miles per hour max speed is seen in each trim level and is limited by the software in the pickup truck.

Canyon 0-60
The GMC Canyon goes from 0-60 miles per hour in only 6.7 seconds, presumably for most of the pickup truck’s trim levels. Seeing how the GMC Canyon uses a robust frame and body, it’ll take a while to hit higher speeds on the road, but it’ll get there. The 0-60 mph times have yet to be officially tested for every different model, but an estimated 6.7 second time is a great measuring stick for time to estimate the models times.
